Remand prisoner dies in hospital

NELLORE: An under trial prisoner of the district jail, M. Srinu (30) of Allur mandal in the district died at the DSR government hospital here on Saturday. He was remanded to judicial custody in a rape and murder case on August 6, this year.

On Friday morning, Srinu vomited and complained of fever and the jail authorities shifted him to the district government headquarters hospital, in Nellore where he died while undergoing treatment. ? Staff Reporter
