MEDFORD, Ore. - Twelve St. Mary's School students are scheduled to return from China this weekend after being quarantined for testing positive for the H1N1 virus, or swine flu.
They were part of a group of 64 students and seven chaperones was traveling in China on a three-week language and culture camp sponsored by the Chinese government. School officials say the 12 students have since been cleared and will make their way home by Saturday night.
Initially, two students tested positive for swine flu, and the group was quarantined at a Beijing hotel. All the students eventually got a clean bill of health. They were released from quarantine July 23rd and headed south to Deng Feng, where they were quarantined for a second time when a third student tested positive.
