Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas .- To give immediate response to contingencies or emergencies that may arise and foremost protect the health of Tamaulipas, the Secretary Norberto Trevi?o Garc?a-Manzo activated the State Committee for Epidemiological Surveillance and Health Security.
In this effort, institutions and sectors, involving over 12 agencies, establishing the main guidelines for the prevention of diseases and adverse conditions such as dengue, hurricanes, extreme temperatures (cold and heat), among others.
"With the relocation and the proper functioning of these committees are going to accomplish what the Governor Egidio Torre Cant? want in his administration: A Tamaulipas strong for everyone," said Secretary of Health, confirming that our State will deposit a healthy population and staffed with quality and humanism.
The State Committee for Epidemiological Surveillance will reveal the behavior of communicable diseases, noncommunicable diseases and risk factors, so that they can make the best decisions for the control and eradication of them.:applause:
The State Security Committee on Health will be able to respond immediately to the contingencies in medical units, infectious diseases are considered controlled and could emerge with intensity, natural disasters and other factors to limit the damages that exceed attention span of services.
Both committees comprise the DIF Tamaulipas, Ministry of Education, Civil Protection, PEMEX, Mexican Navy, Ministry of National Defense, UAT, IMSS, ISSSTE, Conagua and the Red Cross, among others.
