كشفت التحاليل الطبية التى أجريت على 23 عاملاًَ دخلوا إلى مستشفى حميات الإسكندرية، سلامتهم من فيروس "إت وان إن وان" المعروف باسم أنفلونزا الخنازير، وشخص الأطباء - وفق التحاليل - ارتفاع درجة حرارة العمال وحالة القىء الشديد التى أصابتهم، بأن سببها إصابتهم بنزلات برد عادية "أنفلونزا".

وكان مدير مباحث الإسكندرية اللواء حسام الصيرفى قد تلقى بلاغاً بإصابة 47 عاملاً وعاملة بمصنع خاص لإنتاج الملابس بحالات قئ وارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة، وتم نقل 23 منهم لمستشفى الحميات لفحصهم وإجراء التحاليل الطبية اللازمة، فيما تم نقل باقى المصابين إلى مستشفى العجمى ومستشفى العامرية.
