August 8, 2011 - XYMOGEN? of Orlando, FL is recalling specific lots of 3 Varieties of OrganiX Bars: Omega-3, Spice and Greens, because they may contain undeclared peanut protein. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanut protein run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Affected lots of OrganiX Bars were distributed nationwide through mail orders between the dates of August 4th, 2010 to April 19th, 2011.

There have been NO reported allergic reactions to the specific lot #s to date in connection with this problem.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that a lot of cashew butter last year during summer was tested to contain peanut proteins...
