December 14, 2011 - Rising Moon Organics® today issued a voluntary recall of Rising Moon Organics Mediterranean Garlic & Herb Ravioli, a frozen product, because of an incorrect back label on some packages. This mislabeling incident resulted in an undeclared allergen (Soy). People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The front of the retail package is correctly labeled Mediterranean Garlic & Herb Ravioli, 8 oz. However, the back of the retail package is incorrectly labeled Four Cheese Tortelloni, UPC# 7-85030-55559-0. One Code Date is affected: SELL BY APR 05 2012 printed on the front label (ONLY this Sell By date is being recalled).
The product involved was distributed through retail stores nationwide (eastern & central regions)...
