Earthquake north of BR Sunday night

Louisiana experienced a rare event on Sunday evening -- a small earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The 3.0 temblor occurred at 11:38 p.m. Sunday evening about 35 miles north of Baton Rouge east of Clinton near the Amite River, south of La. 10.
Maj. Bob King of the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office said they did not receive any reports from the public regarding the earthquake.
