There will be a local drill for handling pandemic flu in RR passengers. It appears they plan to take them off the train here and take them - I don't know where. My son is a volunteer EMT, so I'm glad to hear they'll be getting training.
In truth, by the time they realize a passenger has pandemic flu, I'd say it's too late for the other passengers....they're in a sealed RR car with "air conditioning" that frequently isn't fully operational. There are already problems with norovirus sometimes. Although the tour companies have good prevention protocols, putting a high population into such high density is the precise opposite of "social distancing."
The passengers they are referring to are those travelling with the cruise ships - many thousands of them. They come from around the world. Some of their "tours" put them in direct and indirect contact with migratory birds soon arrived from BF areas.
