Safety conformation of raw milk produced in Ibaraki (April 22)

On April 10(Sun) the chief of the Nuclear Emergency Response Headquarters lifted
the ban of shipments of raw milk produced in Ibaraki, based on the Act on Special
Measures Concerning Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (Paragraph 3, Article 20). Thus,
the raw milk shipment restarted on April 11(Mon).

The radiation level of raw milk produced in Ibaraki was below the provisional legal
limit on the second inspection (the inspection will be conducted periodically after the
deregulation of the ban on shipments). This result shows that the raw milk has been
consistently confirmed safe.

Hereafter all of us will make efforts to provide safe and reliable milk and dairy
products produced in Ibaraki for consumers. Please feel safe and drink and/or eat
these products.
