    • On the basis of the epidemiological evolution and the outbreaks detected in the last months, the disease is considered endemic in the defined affected zones of north-eastern Italy: Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and Veneto region - Belluno province.
    • New oral vaccination campaigns are planned to be carried out during 2010, to distribute about 2 millions baits for foxes totally in the above affected zone and neighbour areas, about 20,000 square km.
