The pandemic’s sixth wave continues to recede in Quebec.

According to data released Saturday by Quebec’s Health Ministry, the number of patients in hospitals because of COVID-19 dropped by 63, going from 1,754 to 1,691.

There are now 53 people in intensive care, six fewer than the previous day.

Twenty new deaths were also recorded on Saturday, bringing Quebec’s total to 15,276 since the beginning of the pandemic...

Quebec recorded five new deaths and a small drop in hospital numbers Monday as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Hospitalizations related to the health crisis totaled 1,611, a decrease of 11. This comes after 64 admissions and 75 discharges in the last day.

The number of people being treated for the disease in intensive care units stood at 51, a drop of four.

The daily tally shows 457 new novel coronavirus cases, though this isn’t an accurate representation of the situation since PCR testing is off limits to most of the population...

On Tuesday, Quebec reported 1,634 people in hospital (an increase of 23 from the previous day), including 54 in intensive care (an increase of three from the previous day).
The province reported 625 new cases of COVID-19 and 14 deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 1,058,691 confirmed cases, and 15,298 people have died.
The province also reported 5,350 health-care workers absent for COVID-related reasons.
91 per cent of the eligible population in the province (aged five and up) has received at least one dose of the vaccine; 55 per cent have received a third dose and 13 per cent have received a fourth dose.

*The new cases are those reported to the Quebec government only. They are believed to be an underrepresentation of the virus's spread, given the limited availability of PCR tests and use of home testing kits...

Quebec reported on Friday that there are 69 fewer patients receiving care in the province's hospitals for COVID-19 than there were 24 hours ago.

The Health Ministry said there were 72 new patients and 141 were discharged, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to 1,493.

It is the first time the number of hospitalizations has been under 1,500 since April 4.

Of those, 51 people are in intensive care units, a decrease of two...

There are now 1,182 hospitalizations, down 57 from Saturday. There are 29 people in intensive care, a decrease of 1.

The death toll now stands at 15,347.
