MONTREAL -- Quebec has 308 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 368,463 since the start of the pandemic.

The province's health officials also confirmed four more deaths, a total of 11,105.

None of the deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, while three were between May 19 and May 24. One was before May 24 and another was at an unknown date.

Hospitalizations are down by 16, bringing the number of people in Quebec hospitals to 399.

Of those, 101 people are in intensive care; the same as Tuesday.

To date, 352,230 people have recovered from the illness.

MONTREAL -- The number of people in Quebec's intensive care wards has dropped below 100 for the first time since December 4.

The province reported Thursday that five fewer people are in Quebec ICUs, dropping that total down to 96.

There are also five fewer hospitalizations, for a total of 394. The province dropped below 400 people in hospital for the first time since October 18 on Wednesday.

QUEBEC DAILY NUMBERS

As Quebec prepares to reopen outdoor dining spaces on Friday, the province reported 436 more positive COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 368,899 since the start of the pandemic.

Of those, 352,807 people are reported to have recovered from the disease, an increase of 577 from Wednesday.

The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) is reporting fewer than 5,000 active COVID-19 cases for the first time since Sept. 24. The INSPQ has 4,977 active cases, a decrease of 146 from 24 hours ago.

The province also reported 10 more deaths due to the disease, including one in the past 24 hours, six between May 20 and May 25, one before May 20 and two deaths that occurred at an unknown date.

MONTREAL -- As restrictions across Quebec begin to lift, the province reported 419 more positive COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall number of infections to 369,318 since the start of the pandemic.

Of the total number, 353,442 people are reported to have recovered from the novel coronavirus, an increase of 635.

The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) reports that there are 4,758 active COVID-19 cases in the province.

Quebec also added three more deaths due to the disease, including one in the past 24 hours, one between May 21 and May 26, and two before May 21.

Since the pandemic began, 11,118 people in Quebec have died due to COVID-19.

Quebec is reporting 410 new COVID-19 infections on Saturday and seven additional virus-related deaths.

Friday was the first night since the lifting of the nightly curfew and the opening of restaurant terraces.

The number of COVID-19-related hospitalizations dropped by 12 from the day before to 373. Of those, 91 patients are in the ICU, the same number the day prior.

One of the seven deaths was recorded in the last 24 hours. The death toll now stands at 11,125.

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported fewer than than 300 new COVID-19 cases Monday with one death and two fewer hospitalizations as coronavirus numbers continue to fall in the province.

The province saw a week straight of declining hospitalization numbers after two patients were released from hospital for the novel coronavirus. The number of hospitalizations is now at 362. Of those, 89 people are in intensive care wards, a decrease of one.

In addition, the province has 276 more positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections since the start of the pandemic to 370,319. The last time numbers dropped below 300 was September 14, when 276 new cases were reported.

Since the start of the pandemic, 355,266 people have recovered from the disease, an increase of 532 in the last 24 hours.

The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) is reporting that there are currently 3,925 active COVID-19 cases -- the first time active case numbers have dropped below 4,000 since September 22, when 3,882 active cases were reported.

In Quebec, authorities reporting 208 new cases and five additional deaths Tuesday attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is the lowest daily tally of new infections reported in months with the last time numbers being so low dating back to September 2020.

Of the newly reported deaths, one fatality occurred within the past 24 hours while three occurred between May 25 and May 30. One death stems from an unknown date.

The immunization rollout saw 65,917 more doses of the novel coronavirus vaccine administered. More than 5.6 million shots have been given to date.

So far, about 61.3 per cent of Quebecers have received at least one dose.

The province received more than 489,000 of the 540,540 doses of the Pfizer vaccine expected this week. It is also expecting a delivery of more than 90,000 Moderna doses this week.

The number of pandemic-related hospitalizations dropped by eight to 354. Of those patients, there are 86 intensive care, a decrease of three compared to the previous day.

When it comes to screening, the latest information provided by the government shows 17,108 tests were conducted Sunday...

Quebec is reporting 288 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday as the province also saw significant drop in hospitalizations.

Wednesday marks the third day that the daily tally of infections is under 300 as the number of new cases falls to levels not seen since last September.

There are five additional deaths attributable to the pandemic, but none of them took place in the past 24-hour period. Four Quebecers died last week while a fifth fatality stems from an unknown date...

...Meanwhile, hospitalizations related to the health crisis fell again by 14 to 340. This includes 77 patients in intensive care units, a decrease of nine from the previous day....

MONTREAL -- Quebec COVID-19 numbers continue to decline in the province, as active cases, hospitalizations and intensive care numbers all dropped to their lowest points since the fall.

The province reported Saturday that 24 fewer people are in Quebec hospitals receiving care for the novel coronavirus, dropping that total to 283. Of those, 64 people are in intensive care wards, a decrease of three.

The last time hospitalization numbers were below 300 was Oct. 1 when 285 patients were reported.

Quebec added 228 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing that total to 371,589.

Of those, 357,425 are reported to have recovered from the disease, an increase of 427 from Friday.

The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) is reporting 3,014 active COVID-19 cases, a decrease of 201.

The province added four more deaths due to the disease, including one in the past 24 hours, and three between May 29 and June 3.

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported 194 new COVID-19 cases Monday as intensive care hospitalizations dropped to below 60.

There are now 265 people in Quebec's hospitals with coronavirus infections, a decrease of nine from the day before. In the ICU, there are 58, a decrease of three.

In total, Quebec has logged 371,960 coronavirus cases since March 2020. Of those, 358,221 have recovered (an increase of 354), and 11,152 have died (an increase of three).

Of the three newly reported deaths, one ocurred in the last 24 hours, while two were between May 31 and June 5.

Health workers conducted 15,755 coronavirus tests on June 5 (Quebec releases its testing figures 48 hours after the reported day).

From those tests, the province reported a positivity rate of 1.3 per cent, remaining stable from the previous week...

Quebec is reporting 178 new COVID-19 cases and eight more deaths, including one in the past 24 hours, Wednesday.

The latest daily count of infections marks the four consecutive day it is under the 200 mark and it is among the lowest seen since last September.

Montreal is reporting the highest number of new cases, with 61, followed by the Chaudière-Appalaches region, south of Quebec City, with 21 new infections.

The immunization drive saw another 77,070 doses of the novel coronavirus vaccine administered since the last report. The province has provided more than 6.2 million shots to date.

Hospitalizations related to the health crisis continued to fall. There are 257 patients in total, a decrease of six.

Of them, the number in intensive care remains at 60.

MONTREAL -- Quebec continued its streak of reporting fewer than 200 daily novel coronavirus cases Friday with 180 new infections.

The province also reported no new deaths due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, adding one which occurred between June 4 and June 9.

There are now 2,068 known active coronavirus cases in Quebec after 317 recovered Friday.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 372,656 Quebecers are reported to have caught the virus. Of those, 11,167 have died, and 359,421 have recovered.

Hospitalizations continued to fall by the end of the workweek with seven fewer people receiving care in the province's hospitals. There are now 244 people in hospital due to the COVID-19. Of those, 59 are in the intensive care unit, a decrease of five.

MONTREAL -- The number of active COVID-19 cases in Quebec dropped below 2,000 for the first time since early September when the Quebec Institute of Public Health reported 1,970 cases Saturday, a decrease of 98.

The last time active cases were below 2,000 in Quebec was Sept. 5 when 1,983 were reported.

The province added 182 new novel coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, and the total number of infections since the start of the pandemic is now 372,838.
