Trauma-induced "quake brain" which affects Cantabrians' memories and sense of direction could provide an insight into the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a Christchurch academic.
Research from Otago University's Christchurch campus put more than 200 people through a series of tests two to four years after the Canterbury earthquakes to assess their learning and memory skills, and fine motor speed and skill.
