Qatar: Covid-19 Cases and news - 121,287 cases; 205 deaths

DOHA, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Qatar's health ministry on Sunday announced 881 new infections of COVID-19, increasing the total number of confirmed cases in the Gulf state to 87,369.

"Some 1,556 people recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 68,319, while four others died, increasing the fatalities to 98," the official Qatar News Agency reported, quoting a statement by the ministry.

Ministry of Public Health today recorded 608 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 1204 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 96107. The Ministry also announced four deaths due to Covid-19.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 101553 and there are 5308 active cases under treatment. So far, 138 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
