Qatar confirmed 623 new cases on Thursday, bringing the total covid-19 cases to 7,764, Ministry of Public Health said.
The total registered cases across the GCC stands as Saudi Arabia-13,930, UAE-8,756, Qatar-7,764, Kuwait-2,399, Bahrain-2,217, and Oman-1,716.

DOHA, May 5 (Xinhua) -- Qatar's Health Ministry on Tuesday announced 951 new infections of COVID-19, increasing the total number of confirmed cases in the Gulf state to 17,142, of which 15,206 persons are under treatment.

"114 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,924, while the fatalities remain 12," the official Qatar News Agency reported, quoting a ministry statement.
