A 46-year-old man from Saurthali village of Noorpurbadi block has died of swine flu. It is worth mentioning that the person was under treatment in a government hospital in Chandigarh and he died during treatment. Health department also went into action after getting information about knocking of Swine Flu in Noorpurbadi area. Dr. Shiv Kumar, SMO, Government Hospital, Singhpur informed that the deceased person had come to the government hospital a few days ago to get treatment after getting health condition in Singhpur. In view of his delicate condition, after doing his necessary test, he referred to Government Hospital Anandpur Sahib the same day. After the investigation, he was referred to GMCH Sector-32 Chandigarh, But one day after this, on Saturday evening, he died due to health deterioration. After verbal reports received from the District Headquarters, he himself reached the house of the deceased and reached the village of Sarthali, after taking care of his family members under the supervision of the patient as a precaution.
