There were four more cases of what appears to be a gastro-intestinal virus reported over the weekend at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home in Charlottetown.
The two staff and residents that became ill over the weekend brings the total sickened by the as-yet-unidentified illness to 132. Those symptoms include diarrhea, nausea, and sometimes vomiting.
"Certainly it is behaving like gastro-enteritis," said Dr. Heather Morrison, P.E.I.'s chief health officer.

The illness is acting a lot like a gastro-intestinal virus but officials have been unable to find any evidence of the virus in food and stool samples.
?The results to date from the lab have been negative from both a viral and a bacterial perspective,? she Morrison. ?It has been negative, for instance, for norovirus to date.?
Symptoms include diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
?We have had more samples submitted to see if anything else shows up,? she said. ?It?s really hard to actually get the virus out of the stool sample when they?re testing for it.?
