Flu A already caused four deaths in Portugal


They are already four the mortal victims because of the flu A. In Inhabitant of Coimbra there died a patient interned in the intensive cares. In Portalegre, two deaths by flu A were confirmed also.

The patient who died in the hospitals of the University of Inhabitant of Coimbra was suffering also from other associate diseases. The victims of Portalegre were two old women.

In the hospitals of the Nosocomial and University Centre of Inhabitant of Coimbra 15 patients interned with confirmed diagnosis are, six of which in intensive cares. At least in the Hospital of the Covilh? a patient is interned also with confirmed diagnosis.

The General Direction of Health says that the vaccination still goes at time. From the beginning of the year that the cases of flu have been increasing, but in the last ten days there has been registered a number of cases that will correspond to the peak waited from the disease.
