The tiger mosquito appeared in Katowice? Researchers have doubts

june 27, 2019

Information about the appearance of a tiger mosquito in Katowice caused an avalanche of comments on the Internet. A photo of an insect sent to us by dr. Antoni Winiarski, a retired employee of the University of Silesia, although of very good quality, not everyone is convinced that this species of mosquito actually appeared in Poland. Doubts, among others, dr Andrzej Woźnica from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław.
