Dr. Abdel Azim Wazir, Cairo Governor that there was a plan to eliminate the random places in Egypt and transferred to the parks, in addition to the maintenance of project buildings in the center of the country as a masterpiece of ancient architecture.
The minister said in an interview with Good Morning Egypt Egyptian television on Friday in a special broadcast of Al-Azhar Park, the Government in cooperation with the Coordinating Council of civilization to transfer some random places to parks and residential premises, such as the nest Torgoman, and playgrounds Shiha, rail road and Red White and the Zeinhom.
The minister added that the Ministry of Physical Planning in cooperation with the Fund for Financing Slum Ministry of Local Development committed to adopt a strategic plan for the eradication of slums.
Meanwhile, the minister pointed out that the government started a project for the maintenance of buildings in the center of Cairo two years ago as the most incredibly old buildings and palaces, the President has issued a decree in 2003 to determine the elevations of buildings, and the law 144 of 2006 provides for the painting or not to allow the demolition of No portion of the buildings, but the approval of officials.
He said the government will transfer a large number of ministries, which occupy buildings and lack of central Cairo to the ancient provinces of October 6 and the payment and maintenance of these buildings are to occupy the forefront of the Cairo archaeological sites.
And update the traffic problem of the Minister that the Government has some of the procedures to overcome the traffic congestion problem in Cairo is in the organization of the passage of vehicles by half and quarter, the transfer of the day, pointing out that this decision contributed significantly to the reduction of the proportion of air pollution.

وقال وزير في حوار مع برنامج صباح الخير يا مصر بالتليفزيون المصري الجمعة في حلقة خاصة أذيعت من حديقة الأزهر أن الحكومة قامت بالتعاون مع مجلس التنسيق الحضاري بتحويل بعض الأماكن العشوائية إلى حدائق وأماكن سكنية مثل منطقة عشش الترجمان ، وملاعب شيحا والدرب الأحمر والسكة البيضاء ومنطقة زينهم.

وأضاف وزير أن وزارة التخطيط العمراني بالتعاون مع صندوق تمويل العشوائيات بوزارة التنمية المحلية أقدما على تبني خطة إستراتيجية للقضاء على العشوائيات.

وقال إن الخطة الإستراتيجية تهدف إلى تقسيم القاهرة الكبرى والجيزة والإسكندرية لقطاعات ودراسة خطوط الامتداد العشوائي لكل منها ، كما سيتم إزالة العديد من الأماكن العشوائية بالتعاون مع الجمعيات الأهلية والمحافظات كما فعلت جمعية المستقبل برئاسة جمال مبارك بمنطقة العجوزة ، حيث أنشأت عليها عمارتين لنقل السكان وبالتالي سمحت المساحات الجديدة التي أخليت بفتح شوارع جديدة وإنشاء وحدة صحية ومدرسة.
He said that the strategic plan aims to divide the Greater Cairo, Giza and Alexandria sectors and study the lines of the indiscriminate extension of each, will also remove many of the random places in cooperation with NGOs and the provinces, as did the future chairmanship of Gamal Mubarak, the Agouza, as established by the Amartin for the transfer of the population and thus allowed space vacated by the opening of new streets and the establishment of new health units and schools.
من جهة أخرى ، أوضح وزير أن الحكومة بدأت مشروعا لصيانة مبان في وسط القاهرة منذ عامين بوصفها أكثر المناطق ثراءاً بالأبنية والقصور القديمة ، وقد أصدر السيد رئيس الوزراء قراراً عام 2003 لتحديد ارتفاعات المباني ، كما أن القانون 144 لعام 2006 ينص على عدم السماح بطلاء أو هدم اى جزء من هذه الأبنية الا بموافقة المسئولين.

وأضاف أن الحكومة ستقوم بنقل عدد كبير من الوزارات التي كانت تشغل مبانى وقصور أثرية بوسط القاهرة إلى محافظتى 6 أكتوبر وحلوان كما أنه يتم صيانة هذه المباني لتحتل القاهرة الصدارة في الأماكن الأثرية.

وعن مشكلة المرور أستكمل وزير أن الحكومة قامت ببعض الإجراءات المرورية للتغلب على مشكلة الاختناق المروري بالقاهرة تتمثل في تنظيم مرور سيارات النصف والربع نقل نهاراً مشيراً إلى أن هذا القرار ساهم بشكل كبير في خفض نسبة التلوث الجوى.
