Caloocan Warns of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Spread

MANILA, Philippines - Caloocan City residents have been warned of the possible spread of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD). The warning was aired by Mayor Recom Echiverri who cited studies showing that youngsters and babies are vulnerable to the disease since they have lesser defenses to fight germs that lead to sickness. The local health office said HFMD can also be contracted through direct contact of persons infected with the disease or through an encounter with objects that the infected person has come into contact with...

MANILA, Philippines ? Queen of all Media Kris Aquino announced that she and her 2 sons, Joshua and baby James, have fully recovered from hand-foot-and-mouth disease.

On her official Twitter page, Aquino said Joshua, who got infected first, is now back at school. She, on the other hand, is preparing for the first shooting day of her upcoming horror film, ?Dalaw.?
