Deaths from influenza AH1N1 increase to 35 in our country

The Ministry of Health (MINSA) reported on Wednesday that rose to 35 in Peru the number of deaths from influenza AH1N1, disease worldwide and killed 1248 people in 132 countries and 18 dependent territories.
In a communique, the ministry noted that in our country have confirmed 68 new cases of influenza, so that even when the number of people affected was 4957. Of this total, 4192 patients have been discharged while 765 individuals remain in treatment.
The 68 new cases are as follows: 19 in Lima, Cusco nine, eight in Cajamarca, Piura in seven, seven in Arequipa, Ancash in five, four in Lambayeque, La Libertad in three, one in Ica, in a Ayacucho, Apurimac on one, one at Mother of God, one in Huanuco and Junin in one.
These new cases, all Peruvians, are now in medical supervision, home insulation, antiviral and evolving favorably.
Minsa also reported that in Peru have confirmed two new deaths. This is a man of 22 years with chronic renal failure who died in hospital Guillermo Almenara ESSALUD and a girl of 3 years with bronchial asthma and chronic anemia who died at the National Institute of Child Health (formerly Children's Hospital) . In these cases, so far, 35 deaths joined by a new influenza virus.
