Puno department will be affected on Thursday, and even until next Friday, an index of ultraviolet (UK) end to reach a value of 15, according to the National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (Senamhi).
That institution explained that the UK rate in the departments of Arequipa, Ica, Cusco and Cajamarca is 14, while in Piura, Jun?n 13, considered very high.
It also recommended that people apply a sunscreen of high SPF and broad-brimmed hat and sunglasses with UV-A and B, because of the threat it poses to health.
