Parents to be informed if 10% of school hit by H1N1 flu

Alberta parents and students won't be notified if just a few cases of the H1N1flu pops up in their schools.
Alberta Education is recommending school authorities only contact parents if absenteeism is 10% or more due to the virus.
Jim Gibbons, superintendent of Chinook's Edge school division, says there haven't been any cases of the virus in his area and he isn't worried.
He says he's confident if students are vaccinated, any outbreaks should be limited.
And he says people in general are taking more precautions like hand-washing to prevent spread of the disease. He says if a pandemic were to break out, the division has prepared a plan.
