Germany's official death toll from the Robert Koch-Institute is not clearly arranged.

Within a few days the table has been changed and the classification of cases (regarding the different federal states) has been switched and some cases even have been withdrawn or canceled.

Robert Koch-Institute now officialy confirms 21 fatalities due to pandemic influenza H1N1 (November 16, 2009, 3.00 h p.m.).

In relation to the tally from November 13, 2009 there are four new fatalities in children (< 1 year (RKI-case-nr 8), 10 years, 11 years, 12 years (RKI-case-nr. 19 to 21).

Regarding the cases reported in this FT-thread, # 13 probably does not exist yet in the RKI's tally.

Same is to the fatal cases of the 57 year old man and the 18 year old man from Bavaria (FT # 19+20), so far.

And there is another new case of a 52 year old women with underlying medical conditions from Lower Saxony, region of Osnabr?ck (population 163,000).

In the case of a 24 year old woman from Cologne (post # 13, case 17 ) the death due to pandemic influenza H1N1 now was officially confirmed by local health authorities. Autopsy and forensic examination had revealed evidence for influenza virus myocarditis.
