(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) These dengue deaths are located in the regions of Columbus (Colón 8), Chiriquí (4), Metropolitan (4), Eastern Panama (2), Northern Panama (2), Coclé (1), West Panama (1) and Guna Yala (1).
A total of 11,815 cases of dengue have been registered until epidemiological week N°31 in the country, as noted by the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of health (Minsa).
The report updates a death of a 45-year-old male, from Mayor Diaz (North Panama), bringing the figures to date to 23 accumulated deaths caused by the disease.
Regarding the number of cases accumulated by dengue, the list heads Panama Metro with 3,434; Columbus with 1,690 and Panama West with 1,230, with these keeping the highest reports.
The latest report states that the corrections reporting the most accumulated cases continue to be: Las Herons, which sums up 1,561, followed by December 24 with 545; Pacora 394; Chilibre 334; Chepo 285 and Cativá 280.
Carmen Perez, head of Vector Control of Minsa, highlighted the fundamental role of the population in general in fighting dengue.​..

(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) A total of 27,527 cumulative cases of dengue and 49 deaths have been recorded up to epidemiological week No. 45, reported the Epidemiology Department of the Ministry of health (Minsa).

The Metropolitan Region tops the list with the most cases with 7,463; followed by Colón, with 3,113; San Miguelito 3,022; Panama Oeste, with 2,845; Panama Norte, with 2,596; Bocas del Toro, with 1,674; Panama Este, with 1,615 cases; Chiriquí, with 1,570; Los Santos, with 993; Darién, with 654; Coclé, with 529; Veraguas, with 442; Herrera, with 438; Ngäbe-Buglé region, with 306; Kuna Yala, with 259. Likewise, 8 cases are reported in foreigners.

47.7% of cases are concentrated in 20 districts, of which the following stand out: Las Garzas, 24 de Diciembre, Ernesto Córdoba Campos, Chepo, Chilibre and Tocumen with the highest number of dengue cases.​..

(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) As of December 2024, Panama has recorded a total of 31,048 accumulated cases of dengue.

The Metropolitan Region is the one that registers the most cases with 8,321; followed by San Miguelito with 4,021; Colon with 3,247; Panama West with 3,229; Panama North with 2,931; Bocas del Toro with 1,825; Panama East with 1,698 cases; Chiriqui 1,673; Los Santos with 1,252; Darien with 694; Cocle with 582; Veraguas with 486; Herrera 480; Ngäbe-Bugle region with 317; Kuna Yala with 284. Likewise, 8 cases are reported in foreigners.

While in the Metropolitan Region, San Miguelito, Colón, Panama Oeste and Panama Norte have reported 70% of the cases in the entire country.

Regarding hospitalizations, so far in 2024, 2,592 have been recorded, of which 52% are concentrated in the Metropolitan Health Region (718), West Panama (338) and Colón (285).

In the line of deaths, December 2024 records one (1) death from dengue, for a cumulative total of 51 deaths...​
