The Ministry of Agriculture in Gaza confirmed that the mortality in poultry deployed in the Gaza Strip farms due to the heat wave experienced by the Palestinian territories these days are still around normal, reassuring citizens that it will be no increase in the selling prices of poultry in the coming days as a result of this mortality.

And Director of the Animal Production Department of the ministry Taher Hamad said the number of dead poultry reached 50-70 thousand chickens accounted for only 3% due tohigh temperatures.

He emphasized that this ratio on the normal range in such an atmosphere and this time of year, calling at the same sustenance farmers to adhere to the guidelines issued by theministry in order to avoid any losses that may occur.

And student director of animal production department in the ministry , " the farmers toprepare well and take the necessary measures to cope with any emergency procedures, stressing that , and his ministry has sent 2000 SMS during the past 3 days to all poultry farmers in the sector, that there is the possibility of high temperatures, so you must Take the necessary measures".

He called on poultry farmers to adhere to the following guidelines especially in times ofnoon, to avoid casualties and deaths , namely: spray water on the roof and around thefarm and the use of vitamin C, Reduce the density of birds on the farm, raising the fluid at noon.
