?Malaria cases have risen by 30-35 percent in Sindh?

Though the Sindh government published advertisements in newspapers to create awareness among the public about World Malaria Day, which was observed on April 25, experts believe that the eradication of diseases mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue can only be achieved through long-term planning.
Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed presided over a meeting on Wednesday, which analysed the prevalence of these diseases in Sindh. A press release issued by the provincial government after the meeting claimed that some 87,607 cases of malaria were detected in Sindh last year, out of which 26,802 cases were from the districts that had been affected by heavy rains and flooding.
