Pakistan: Covid-19 cases - 300,371 cases, 6,370 deaths

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has soared to 8,418.

According to National Command and Operation Centre, 3721 cases have so far been detected in Punjab, 2537 in Sindh, 1235 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 432 in Balochistan, 263 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 181 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 49 in Azad Kashmir.

The Center said that 1970 patients have so far recovered while the death toll from the virus stands at 176 with 17 new deaths reported during the last twenty-four hours. 425 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

Pakistan records highest number of coronavirus deaths in a day


Monday also saw highest single-day rise in confirmed cases as 705 more got infected, taking country's tally to 9,214.

Islamabad, Pakistan- Pakistan has seen its highest rise in deaths in a single day from the coronavirus, with 17 new cases taking the country's death toll from the highly contagious virus to at least 192, according to government data.

Confirmed coronavirus cases surge to 10,069 in Pakistan

Pakistan on Wednesday has reported 209 deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 9749.

According to details, 4328 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Punjab, 3,373 in Sindh, 1345 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 495 in Balochistan, 283 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 194 in Islamabad and 51 in Azad Kashmir.

So far, 2156 patients have recovered in the country.
