Flu season hasn't arrived yet, but there is plenty of pneumonia in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Local pediatricians and family physicians report seeing lots of children in recent weeks with the lung infection...

It's been a tough season for coughs in Erie region

Patients have been coughing on Brad Fox, M.D., almost nonstop since Halloween.

The Saint Vincent Health Center family physician is one of many local doctors who have treated a higher-than-usual number of patients the past few months with respiratory illnesses, including pneumonia...

...It's not just pneumonia. The Erie County Department of Health issued a pertussis alert Dec. 22 after seven cases of the disease, commonly known as whooping cough, were reported in Erie County...
