Oregon health officials warned the public on Tuesday about a new food poisoning outbreak in the Northwest traced to chicken.
A public health alert said six people who had consumed raw or undercooked chicken livers, mainly chicken liver pate, since December had became infected with campylobacter, a common food-borne pathogen associated with poultry. Those sickened live in Oregon and Washington. At least two people from Ohio became infected but they ate tainted chicken livers in Oregon...
