Oruro and La Paz are declared epidemic zones by increase of cases

The minister of Health, Juan Carlos Calvimontes, informed that Oruro was declared an epidemic zone after the last report of cases of colds and flu A h1n1, that in the last week it increased in 30 per cent. It indicated that in the country there exist 926.504 cases of respiratory sharp infections, of which 2.276 suspicious cases of flu exist AH1N1 and 457 confirmed ones. La Paz and Santa Cruz keep on being the departments with more cases, whereas in Cochabamba 11 persons exist with the influenza and in whole 11 thousand registered cases of colds. He told that the department of Oruro is in epidemic zone for the same his local authorities they must declare sanitary departmental alert; Bulging, Tarija, Chuquisaca and Cochabamba are in the limit of zone of alarm and epidemic; La Paz in zone of epidemic, and other departments in safety zone and success.
