An unknown disease caused casualties to Yatolema quoted located about 80 km from Kisangani (Eastern Province). According to local civil society, sixty children have already died during the last six months of 2011, to the disease. It is manifested by vomiting, headache and fever.
An investigation is already expedited to identify the causes of this disease, health officials said.
