1950-2009

Pat Leroy Ray went to be with Jesus on Nov. 3, 2009 at 7:18 pm. His cause of death was the swine flu virus.
At his time of passing he was surrounded by his friends and Pastor David Martin. Even though Pat was 59 yrs old, and had Down Syndrome, he never met a stranger. He touched many people's lives with his love for Jesus and his kind loving ways. Pat worked at Goodwill Industries, and even in his last days, he said he wanted to go back to work because they needed him. Pat went to LCC when he was younger. He also did many activities with Willamalane Park & Recreation programs for people with disabilities. This world is a better place because of Pat, and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Pat was born in McMinnville to Anna and Howard Ray. He had a brother, Orville Loban, and sister, Jo-Ann Bea Greenwalk, both of which are deceased. Pat also has a sister, Rolla Krebs, who lives in Springfield.

On Nov. 5, 2009 Pat was buried beside his mother in McMinnville. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Nov. 14th at First Evangelical Church, 834 Monroe St. Eugene, OR.Please sign the guest book at
