LINN COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - Health officials are investigating two confirmed cases of measles, and are warning the public of potential exposure to the virus.

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) says they learned of two measles cases on Jan. 5 - the first in the state this year.

While officials are not disclosing any information about the individuals, including where they live, they did provide two locations and a timeframe for potential exposure to the virus:

Lebanon Community Hospital Emergency Department, between 8:53 p.m. Jan. 6 and 7 a.m. Jan. 7.
Albany General Hospital Emergency Department, between 4:59 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Jan. 7.

Both hospitals are located in Linn County...

Measles exposure possible for visitors at Clackamas Kaiser Permanente hospital on Jan. 26, OHA says

People who visited the emergency department at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas earlier this week may have been exposed to measles, the Oregon Health Authority warns.

The state agency and Clackamas County health officials jointly announced Wednesday that people who stopped by the hospital, located at 10180 SE Sunnyside Road, between 11:28 a.m. and 1:53 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, may have been exposed to the virus.

OHA says the site is linked to a new measles case in Clackamas County. It’s the second case reported so far this year for the county and the fourth in the state...

By Kristine de Leon | The Oregonian/OregonLive

People who shopped at a Gresham grocery store earlier this month may have been exposed to measles, state health officials said.

It’s clear whether the possible exposure is linked to a new case or to one of the six measles cases Oregon has confirmed so far this year.

Officials with the Oregon Health Authority and Multnomah County said anyone who was at WinCo Foods, 2511 S.E. First St., between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. March 7 could have been exposed...

...In Oregon, health officials have confirmed six cases since Jan. 1, most involving unvaccinated individuals. But officials say the true number of infections is likely higher because some people with symptoms may not seek testing or medical care.

The state has declared a measles outbreak, but it’s unclear where most cases are occurring. Officials have declined to release additional details — including the patients’ ages or home counties — citing privacy concerns.

State wastewater surveillance has also detected traces of the measles virus in several parts of the state, suggesting the virus may be circulating more widely than confirmed case counts indicate.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Multnomah County public health officials are investigated a confirmed case of measles.

Officials added that the person and their family are cooperating with public health officials, who say the risk to the general public is low, as most Oregonians have been vaccinated against the disease.

Earlier this month, the Oregon Health Authority and Multnomah County public health officials warned that people might have been exposed at the WinCo at 2511 Southeast First Street between 2-5 p.m. on March 7...

A record-breaking 2,318 cases have been reported in the country as of July 23, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
