WELLAND ? The Niagara Health System has declared an enteric outbreak at the Welland County General hospital.

The outbreak is confined to the sixth floor medicial unit of the Welland site.

NHS officials say several patients on the unit have experience symptoms consistent with an enteric infection, such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

The outbreak was declared Thursday in conjunction with Niagara Region Public Health...
