Potential measles exposure at Queen’s University, other Kingston locations

Southeast Public Health has reported a potential measles exposure at various locations, including Queen’s University, Goodlife Fitness and the downtown Metro grocery store.
According to a news release from the health unit, the risk is related to a new single positive case of measles, which is a highly contagious virus that spreads throughout the air and can survive on surfaces for up to two hours.
Locations, along with times of potential exposure have been listed:
Goodlife Fitness (64 Barrack St.) Feb. 9 between 8 and 11 p.m.
Queen’s University Kingston Hall (103 Stuart St.) Feb 10 between 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Metro (310 Barrie St.) Feb 13 between 4:45 and 7 p.m...
