Trillium dealing with C. difficile outbreak
The Trillium Health Centre's Mississauga site is dealing with an outbreak of C. difficile after recording 17 cases at the facility in June.
Trillium spokesperson Patti Cochrane said the number of hospital-acquired cases to date this month is six and, if that trend continues, the hospital will be able to declare the outbreak over by the end of July. No one has died from the outbreak, said Cochrane....
