Sentinel Surveillance Summary for March 1 through March 7, 2015[/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif]The percentage of outpatient visits statewide meeting the criteria for ILI[SUP]1[/SUP] was 5.8% (128/2,197).[/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif]128 (16.6%) of the 773 influenza tests performed by sentinel laboratories were positive for influenza. Influenza B made up a larger portion of the positive specimens this week at 81% compared to 62% during the week ending February 28[SUP]th[/SUP].[/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif]1 (17%) of the 6 respiratory specimens tested for influenza by PCR at the OSDH Public Health Laboratory was positive for influenza B. [/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, Verdana, sans-serif]71 (21.2%) of the 335 RSV tests performed by sentinel laboratories were positive. [/FONT]
