3 new hospitalizations; total 12
3.2% rapid influenza tests performed by sentinel laboratories were positive for influenza A and 0.5% was positive for flu B.
No respiratory specimens were tested by the OSDH Public Health Laboratory (PHL) during this surveillance period for influenza.
Since September 30, 2012, 6 of 28 (21%) specimens tested by the OSDH PHL by PCR were positive for seasonal influenza A H3.

Seventeen (4.9%) of the 346 rapid influenza tests performed by sentinel laboratories were positive for influenza; fifteen (4.3%) positive for influenza A and 2 (0.6%) positive for influenza B.
Seven (88%) of the eight respiratory specimens tested for influenza by PCR at the OSDH Public Health Laboratory during this surveillance period were positive for influenza.Six specimens tested positive for influenza A (H3) and one specimen was positive for influenza B.

Ninety-five (14.3%) of the 664 rapid influenza tests performed by sentinel laboratories were positive for influenza; 83 (87%) were positive for influenza A and 12 (13%) were positive for influenza B.

Since September 30, 2012, 44 of 80 (55.0%) specimens tested by the OSDH PHL by PCR were positive for influenza.Thirty-six (81.8%) specimens were positive for influenza A (H3) and eight (18.2%) specimens were positive for influenza B.
