ATHENS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) ? A female Ohio University freshman was admitted to the hospital Tuesday to be treated for a possible case of bacterial meningitis.

In a release posted to the University's website, Dean of Students Jenny Hall-Jones said the university is still getting information on the case, but there isn't a proactive treatment for the type of meningitis the student contracted...
