Two residents of Wesley Ridge Retirement Community have died as a result of a Legionnaires? disease outbreak that began on July 9 at the Reynoldsburg retirement community.

Sixteen cases have been confirmed, and five people associated with Wesley Ridge are being treated in hospitals. The ages of those who have been sickened range from 63 to 99. The names and ages of those who died have not been released...

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The number of confirmed cases of Legionnaires' disease is now up from 16 to 17 at a Reynoldsburg retirement center.

10TV spoke to one man who says his mother-in-law lived at the facility.

Eva Daniel is 92-years-old, and her family says antibiotics are working to combat the Legionnaires' infection...

Federal health investigators say the bacteria that cause Legionnaires? disease are present in the water system at the Reynoldsburg retirement community where an outbreak has killed two people and infected 32.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tested the water system at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community and shared the preliminary results yesterday with Franklin County Health officials.

The outbreak began July 9 and has resulted in 28 people being hospitalized so far. Some have been released...

Legionnaires' Disease Now Blamed For 4 Deaths At Reynoldsburg Retirement Community

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio - Operators of a Reynoldsburg retirement community says the number of deaths related to an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease has climbed from two to four.

No information or names of the four people who died have been released.

The outbreak at Wesley Ridge has now grown to 35 confirmed cases.

Preliminary test results indicated that legionella was in the water system, but the source of it has still not been determined...

A fifth person has been confirmed to have died from contracting legionnaires disease at the Wesley Ridge Retirement Community in Reynoldsburg.

As of Monday there were a total of 35 persons with confirmed legionella cases. The majority have been treated and returned home. 4 people have died from the disease. The victims ranged in age from 65 to 99...

Health officials have pinpointed the water sources implicated in Ohio?s largest Legionnaires? disease outbreak, but they?re still working out why the bacteria flourished in those places at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community.

Investigators attributed a fifth death to the outbreak yesterday. And they concluded that water used for drinking, cooking and showering in multiple areas and water in an air-conditioning cooling tower was to blame...

The largest Legionnaires? disease outbreak in the state continued to grow yesterday, as investigators confirmed three more illnesses linked to the troubles at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community.

There now are 38 people known to have been sickened by the Legionella bacteria found in multiple locations at the Reynoldsburg retirement community, Franklin County Public Health spokeswoman Mitzi Kline said. Five people have died...
