New strain of dog flu found in central Ohio

A dog in Licking County has tested positive for a new strain of canine influenza, a Newark veterinarian said today.

If the diagnosis is confirmed by a second test, the case would be the first reported in Ohio, according to Dr. Josh Daniels, an associate professor at Ohio State University?s College of Veterinary Medicine...
