Area flu death reported
Ohio has recorded 25 flu deaths this season

SPRINGFIELD ? A Champaign County man?s flu-related death in a Columbus hospital came after he contracted the H1N1 virus, according to a local health official.

A Montgomery County resident?s Jan. 9 flu-related death also was confirmed this week and listed as part of the west-central Ohio region statistics, according to Champaign County Epidemiologist Gabe Jones.
