9 kids die in two days in Odisha hospital; government orders probe

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha government on Saturday ordered a high level inquiry into the deaths of nine infants in 24 hours at government-run VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla.

"A two-member team will leave for Burla today (Saturday) to find out the cause of so many deaths and possible remedial measures. They will submit a report to the government for further action," said health secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra.
