UPDATED 11:06am: A warning for pregnant women to get second opinions if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

It follows the death of Daile Eden who was eight months pregnant when she died in her sleep from pneumonia, while at her home in Stoke near Nelson last Friday morning.

The 24-year-old sought medical help from Nelson Hospital and her GP on two separate occasions that week and was told it was a virus.

The mother and little baby girl will be farewelled at a funeral today...
