Swine flu cases still rising in New Zealand
The number of confirmed cases of swine flu (H1N1) in New Zealand reached 2810 today, a jump of 13 on yesterday.
The number of deaths from swine flu remained at 13, director of public health Mark Jacobs said.
Dr Jacobs said the World Health Organization was no longer issuing tables showing the numbers of confirmed cases for all countries.
"This is because there are an increasing number of cases in many countries, including New Zealand, which is making it extremely difficult to confirm laboratory testing in an accurate and timely manner," he said
