School holidays may help slow spread of swine flu

Calls to the Ministry of Health?s Healthline have increased by 40 percent, after confirmation that three New Zealanders with swine flu have died.
But now health authorities have another outbreak to worry about ? with four confirmed cases of measles in Christchurch, and another six likely cases.
Health authorities say the school holidays will stop both swine flu and measles from spreading through classrooms, but if children travel, both viruses may spread to other parts of the country.
