These graphs provide some indication of the risk of wind-driven dust clouds. Wind gusts greater than about 28km/hr raise dust. Stronger and more long-lasting gusts will produce larger and more-lasting dust clouds. Recent / current rainfall suppresses dust, regardless of the strength of the wind.
