more sequences from New Zealand were released, including the
polymerase segments of A/Auckland/1/2009/04/25 16m
two groups returned on Sat. 25.Apr from 2 different colleges
one group was in Mexico-city , one in Cancun
what group did Auckland/1 belong to
where may he have caught it ?
his virus belongs to the "pre-Cancun" group, it has 5 mutations
of the 11 which form the Cancun-New-York virus which
did spread so much.
It could show how the virus achieved the 11 mutations
and where it had been inbetween
(assuming it came from Mexico city to Cancun ~in Feb.2009)
also to solve the mystery why there were so few cases
in Mexicans in Cancun, but so many in tourists
Those then brought it to New York...
